Innovation in Refugee Connectivity
Across industries and geographies, our partners help pilot, test, and scale new ways to connect refugee and host communities.
A Multi-Stakeholder Effort
Connectivity for Refugees works to establish commercially viable, sustainable models for connectivity in refugee-hosting areas. In each country, we build local capacity and work closely with governments, the private sector, and community organizations to test and scale innovative connectivity solutions.
Where We Work
Today, the initiative is active in more 15 countries including Angola, Cameroon, Chad, DRC, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mauritania, Rwanda, South Sudan, Uganda. By 2030, we’re set to advance connectivity across 35 major refugee-hosting countries.
Below is a snapshot of how we’re making it happen in select geographies.
